The Porter of Saint Bonaventure's: The Life of Father Solanus Casey, Capuchin

In 1960, the author began to hear-quite by chance-remarkable stories about Father Solanus, who had died in 1957. Intrigued, he began to research the Capuchin's life from his earliest years. The task required seven years, and resulted in this book.

This new printing features an Epilogue chapter compiled by a niece and a grandniece of Fr. Solanus. Both are Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary. The chapter covers the Process for Canonization, shares some personal recollections of living relatives of Fr. Solanus, aan pictures the New Solanus Casey Center built in 2002.
