This baptismal shell is a classic and substantial liturgical tool, designed for the ritual pouring of water during the Sacrament of Baptism. Unlike lighter alternatives, this vessel is made of heavy cast bronze, providing a significant weight and durability that befits its sacred use.
The shell is available in two high-quality plated finishes to match your parish’s existing altar ware. The 24k gold-plated option offers a traditional and radiant appearance, while the nickel-plated finish provides a bright, silver-toned look with the added benefit of being tarnish-resistant, requiring less maintenance than sterling silver. Its five and three-fourth inch diameter provides a generous capacity for water, ensuring a graceful and steady pour during the rite.
