The urn features a traditional cylindrical design with a secure lid and is typically used in diocesan cathedrals for the distribution of oils following the Chrism Mass. Each urn is sold individually and comes with a specific brass identification plate for easy recognition. The vessel is designed to hold one of the three holy oils: Sacred Chrism (SC), Oil of Catechumens (OS), or Oil of the Sick (OI).
