In his innocent eyes, the figure on the cross is not a statue, but a man who is cold, hungry, and suffering. With a heart full of compassion, the boy begins to bring the figure bread and wine (pan y vino). In a moment of divine wonder, the figure speaks, accepting the child's humble gifts and offering to grant him his deepest heart’s desire.
