This scale paten is a foundational piece of liturgical metalware, designed for use during the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. Measuring 5-1/2" in diameter, the vessel is finished in 24k gold plating, offering a radiant and non-reactive surface for the Sacred Host. The traditional scale design features a slight, uniform depression to ensure the host remains centered and secure on the altar.
The high-quality gold finish provides a brilliant appearance that complements both traditional and contemporary sanctuary settings while resisting tarnish over time.
